Heli Biking
The Drop off point from the helicopter is Isthmus Peak the northern
most end of Glen Dene Station 1,454 metres. The homestead is located
at the southern end of the property some 28 kilometres away on the western
shores of Lake Hawea.
You will have a magnificent outlook over both lakes and surrounding
mountains. The surrounding glacial mountains consist mainly of sharp,
leading spurs and gullies.
You be riding along the main divide Between Lakes Hawea and Lake Wanaka,
It is one of the best Mountain Helibikes around as it provides good
helicopter time giving you the chance for some scenery over and around
Lake Wanaka.
